Predictive Analytics Lab seeks to hire a dynamic professional to fill in the role of an Assistant Accountant at the company. The desired persons will be reporting to the Operations Manager based at the Predictive Analytics Lab offices located in Westlands Nairobi Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

·       Aid in filling timely payment of the relevant statutory deductions

·       Aid in reconciliations of both bank, debtors and creditors ledgers

·       Aid accounting staff and department with day-to-day accounting duties

·       Manage ledgers and ensure accurate financial record keeping across departments

·       Receive and process invoices and billing statements

·       Track payments and ensure accuracy of paid accounts

·       Assist with general accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

·       Contact clients and vendors as necessary to ensure accurate and on-time payments

·       Prepare written reports for delivery to senior-level managers

·       Utilize spreadsheets and database tools to assist in financial record keeping

Job Specifications.

·       A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance/ final year student in Accounting or Finance related field may be preferred

·       Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / an ongoing student may be necessary or preferred

·       0-2 years of previous accounting experience

·       Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productivity tools

·       Ability to quickly learn and utilize industry-specific accounting tools

·       Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of accounts

·       Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to multitask across different types of accounting-related projects
