I am John Macharia, a final year undergraduate at KCA University, working toward a Bachelors of Commerce degree in Finance. My primary motivation for this application is gaining hands-on experience in a fast paced working environment, so I am flexible with various roles and compensation possibilities.

• Participated and awarded in the 2018 Capital Markets Authority University Challenge, for a PowerPoint presentation on the application of technology within Kenya's capital markets, and the first runner-up in the 2019 Invhestia Financial Modelling Competition, competing against a pool of over 100 participants in spreadsheet modelling using Excel.
