Job Title: Business Analyst

Work Location: Main Location Farm, Naivasha

Supervisor: General Manager

Job Purpose: Provide support to key departments viz; production and Sales, Finance, Warehouse and logistics, and Human Resources through data processing and analysis.

Main duties & responsibilities:

1. Extract raw data from the main ERP (Dansoft) and stage it to Power BI for analysis and reporting.
2. Run ad-hoc analysis which includes descriptive, exploratory, and inquisitive analysis to address business needs.
3. Manage day-to-day data and guide the team in executing analytic projects by analyzing small to large-volume data.
4. Assess data quality for specific use and instances; feasibility analytics, mapping analytics, evolution analytics and analytics road-map.
5. Gather information on business requirements and/or challenges, define appropriate analytics approach and provide analytical feedback to internal and external stakeholders on potential weaknesses, opportunities, threats or solutions.
6. Understanding business outcomes and mapping them back to solution-based or product-based offerings.
7. Research and come up with innovations to develop future-generation solutions in the core functional areas related to production effectiveness, forecasting with detrending methods, warehouse and logistics, financial management, employee management, data insights etc.
8. Provide technical training, thought leadership, coaching, and mentorship in the field of data science to the leadership and other cross-functional teams.
9. Create business and technical presentations and reports and present analysis findings to the end users including leadership teams and the support staff.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree

2. Minimum two years Experience in similar field

3. Tools; Power BI, Python, SQL, 

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

5. Knowledge in Statistics and analytical model is a plus

6. Experience in cloud storage and server set up
